You can file a claim at my.petinsurance.com, or by email, mail or fax. All claims require legible paid invoice(s). If submitting by email, mail or fax, please be sure to include a completed claim form along with your invoice(s).

Please allow up to 30 days from the time we receive all required information such as invoices and medical records (if requested). Please note that some claims may take longer than 30 days, depending on their complexity.

You can track your claim by logging into your account at my.petinsurance.com. Please allow up to 48 hours from the time we receive your claim for it to appear in your account.

Fast, convenient electronic reimbursement is available; sign up at my.petinsurance.com and we’ll deposit your claim reimbursements directly into your bank account. If you haven’t signed up for electronic reimbursement, we’ll mail you a check.

Yes. There are several reasons you might want to have a claim reviewed. Some examples are:

  • Your pet was treated for more than one condition during his/her veterinarian visit
  • Your pet’s diagnosis is different from what was originally written on your claim form
  • Your original claim was missing a diagnosis or itemized invoice

Supporting documents from the attending veterinarian(s) must be provided to review your claim. Documentation may include handwritten or computer-generated medical records, along with any supporting laboratory results.

Please allow up to 30 days to complete your review. The 30 days begin from the time all necessary information to review your claim has been received. If any information is missing or additional information is needed, we will notify you in writing.
